Hello, everyone! It’s been a while! I just wanted to drop in with a little update on our beloved Rocket. He recently celebrated his 17th birthday! He’s still in good health but now prefers to spend most of his days lounging like royalty in his throne bed. He’s as sweet as ever, and even with life being busy with two little humans, Rocket remains a constant and special reminder of the love, loyalty, and joy he’s brought into our lives over the years. We’re so grateful for every moment with him! How is everyone doing?

Oh my goodness! It has been a while since posting. Rocket is doing well and getting along beautifully with our now 4 month old baby. Sleep is few and far between these days but Rocket doesn’t mind because he can take all the naps his heart desires! How is everyone holding up? We’ve missed you! 💜

These two cuties. Rocket’s brother is one month

These two cuties. Rocket’s brother is one month old today! We had a bit of a scary morning - We were abruptly woken up by a 5.7 magnitude earthquake. The baby monitor recorded it (the second video-turn the sound up). Baby and Rocket were with me in the bedroom at the time and everyone is ok, but it was very scary.

Rockets little brother is here! JonLuca made an early appearance on 2/19/20. In all honesty, I was very anxious how Rocket would react to the baby. After all, Rocket has been my fur baby for almost 12 years. He has exceeded all of our expectations and it’s as if he has a new calling in life to protect our baby. He constantly watches him, kisses his feet, alerts us when he starts to cry and gives me space while I’m nursing him. I actually cried when I realized how great Rocket was going to be with this little guy. We love this baby so much and I think Rocket and JonLuca are going to be the best of friends. Here is their very first meet and greet 🥰 #NannyDog

Rocket has been the most loyal and loving companion to me for almost 12 years. I made a promise to myself and Rocket to show him my unconditional love through the many unpredictable days, sleepless nights and devotion that will be given to our soon to arrive tiny human. Rocket is just as much a part of our family as anyone else and he will be there for every milestone, family adventure and special one-on-one time.
