You have to admit, these treats look good enough for us humans to eat! Honestly, there is no reason not to. Every ingredient is just as good for us as it is our hound. *Commence snack sharing with pup.
I tried to add ingredients that provide some sort of health benefit to dogs. According to the AKC.org, celery is loaded with vitamins A, B, and C, promotes a healthy heart and even freshens doggy breath. Apples are an excellent source of fiber as well as vitamins A and C. Just remember to never give your dog the core or seeds as they contain cyanide, a toxic substance. Wild mint, spearmint or peppermint can freshen your pup's breath and help with digestion. Just a tip: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals warns that the only species of mint that is toxic to dogs is English pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium). It's toxic to humans as well so I don't think you will find this at your local grocery store anytime soon.

Hello ,
I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!
I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).
I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂
Keep up the good work on your blog.

What could you use instead of the chicken broth?
Hi Deb, I think you can use plain water instead of chicken broth. If you try it, let me know how it turns out!
